| Comments: | All Arizona Star Party! I haven't had time to get the scope out since the Messier Marathon earlier this year (at the same location), and since that disaster (hmm, I may post those out of focus images if I'm really bored one day), it's been too busy or too ugly to even attempt an outing :p But this batch is pretty good, the sky was superb although the G-11 wasn't tracking the best, I'm still satisfied with this catch. Of course, being out of practice for 6 months, it took me a good 2 hours after sunset before I was ready to start snappin' pics *sigh*. I decided to spend extra time on targets and take 31 darks and flats for processing; I think it helps a lot! Didn't even bother any smoothing with Noiseware! I did however have to resort to Photoshop to get rid of some bright star flares on the Horsehead and M45. |
